Yutaka is Managing Director, Chief of Staff for Asia Pacific for MUFG Bank since April 2023.
Based in Singapore, he is responsible for managing the safety and soundness of the bank’s branch operations — which include risk, compliance, and regulatory matters — across 15 markets in South-east Asia, East Asia (excluding China), South Asia (including India) and Oceania. Yutaka has over 27 years of experience in corporate banking and strategic planning in MUFG.
